Job Title: Tolling Installation Manager
 
This is a multi-year contract, on-site in Alexandria, VA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Instillation Manager with expertise in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) systems. The ideal candidate will oversee the fast-paced installation work of tolling systems, managing multiple teams and subcontractors to ensure projects stay on track. This role involves construction management, technical coordination, and hands-on support for internal crews while ensuring high-quality installations are completed on schedule.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of ITS and tolling system installation projects, ensuring timely execution and compliance with project plans.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and installation crews.
• Provide hands-on support when needed, stepping in to assist teams during critical moments of the installation process.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure the project remains on schedule and aligned with planned milestones.
• Maintain communication with all stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues that arise during installation.
• Oversee the fast-paced installation process and ensure all teams are aligned and performing at their best.

 
Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of ITS and ETC systems, with the ability to manage technical aspects of tolling installations.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors, internal crews, and coordinating multiple teams on construction projects.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to step in and assist teams during critical moments.
• Excellent organizational and management skills to oversee the construction process from start to finish.
• Familiarity with managing lane closures and traffic-related construction work is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to project needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

 
Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in the tolling or transportation infrastructure industry.
• Experience overseeing ITS installation or similar technical construction projects.
