The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for the cleaning, inspection, sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. They will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for procedures. They will be knowledgeable in sterile processing standards and serve as a patient safety advocate.

  • Full-time, 1 FTE (40 working hours), Variable shift
  • Full-time, 1 FTE (40 working hours), Evening shift

Required Qualifications:

  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire. Or
  • National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Sterile Processing and Distribution or Coursework/Training: Surgical Technician
  • Previous experience in Sterile Processing or knowledge of surgical instrumentation.
