Senior Accounting Manager
Location: Daytona Beach, FL (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Remote)
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Company:
A well-established and growing organization in Daytona Beach is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations, oversee month-end close, and support strategic financial initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on accounting and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full month-end and year-end close process

• Manage and mentor a small accounting team (AP/AR/GL staff)

• Ensure accuracy of the general ledger and financial reporting

• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements

• Lead cash management, forecasting, and budgeting support

• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP

• Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic planning

• Coordinate annual audits and act as primary point of contact with external auditors

• Improve processes, implement efficiencies, and enhance reporting capabilities

• Support special projects, system enhancements, and company initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience , including leadership or supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

• Experience managing month-end close required

• Advanced Excel skills preferred

• CPA, MBA, or public accounting experience is a plus

• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Work Schedule:

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Daytona Beach / 2 days remote

• Monday–Friday
