SMT Operator

Under direct supervision, the SMT Operator is responsible for operating light-duty bench and floor-type machine tools and equipment. This role involves setting up, operating, and performing routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

• Set up all machines properly according to setup instructions.
• Operate all machines correctly, efficiently, and within quality standards.
• Set up machines for production.
• Fully understand supporting documentation such as MPI's, deviations, etc.
• Perform data entry.
• Possess knowledge of the Aegis process.
• Follow proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures at all times.
• Perform change-over and tear down processes.
• Conduct routine maintenance on all machines.
• Maintain products and communication log.
• Perform machine operator duties as needed in all areas of production.
• Be knowledgeable of 5S practices.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with soldering and working with PCP and microscope.
• Familiarity with SMT (Surface Mount Technology).
• Understanding of electronics and assembly processes.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
