As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time - Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

  • 20+ Years of Age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing patrols and other security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 20 years of age.
  • Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
