Safety Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Safety Supervisor supports enforcing safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment. This role leads day-to-day safety activities on the floor, provides coaching and training to team members, and ensures compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily safety operations and enforce compliance with policies and procedures.
Support investigations of incidents and near-misses; ensure proper documentation.
Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across the facility.
Deliver toolbox talks and coordinate safety training sessions.
Serve as primary liaison with regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
Assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions.
Promote employee involvement in safety initiatives and maintain a visible presence on the floor.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
2–4 years of experience in an industrial safety role.
Working knowledge of OSHA standards and manufacturing safety practices.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual a plus (if applicable to your workforce).
