Position Overview

Technician needed for Calgary branch.

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Pest Control Sales & Service Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong sales personality who are motivated by commission-based earnings and excel in customer interactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying pest issues, providing effective solutions, and delivering exceptional service to our clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations.​
• Develop and present customized pest control solutions to clients, emphasizing the benefits and value of our services.​
• Close sales and schedule service appointments, ensuring a seamless customer experience.​
• Perform pest control treatments in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.​
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including treatment methods and follow-up visits.​
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and recommendations.​
• Stay updated on the latest pest control methods, products, and industry regulations.​

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in pest control is an asset.​
• Experience in sales is an asset
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.​
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.​
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.​
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.​
• Pest control license is an asset but not required, we will train and cover costs associated with obtaining.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to work in dirty and unpleasant conditions, including cleaning up pest droppings such as those from mice or pigeons.​
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights, including climbing ladders and entering attics or crawl spaces.​
• Physically capable of handling the demands of the job, including lifting equipment and performing tasks in various environmental conditions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
