Backwoods Pest Control is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Pest Control Technician who loves problem-solving in the great Pacific Northwest.

Conditional Training Period:
This role is extended as a Trainee position. You must pass the Idaho Private Applicatorand Industrial, Institutional and Structural Pest Control Non-Commodity (IP) Category Exams and hold the Idaho license within 20 business days of hire to convert to 70 day probation period then to a full-time employee and access standard benefits.

What Youll Do

• Hit the Road: Visit residential and commercial propertiesbe the friendly face our customers trust.
• Detect & Diagnose: Scout for signs of rodents, insects, and other unwelcome guests.
• Apply Targeted Treatments: Safely handle and apply EPA-approved pesticides, baits, and traps.
• Maintain Equipment: Keep sprayers, foggers, and traps in top shape so youre always job-ready.
• Document & Report: Record findings, treatments, and recommendations in our digital logs.
• Educate & Delight: Share practical prevention tips and build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians on residential routes
• Restock and maintain PPE/chemicals
• Complete safety & equipment training modules
• Log work-order data in CRM daily

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license; clean driving record
• Idaho Private and Professional Applicator exams & licensure within 20 business days
