Non CDL Delivery Driver- Black River Produce at Performance Foodservice summary:

The Non CDL Delivery Driver at Black River Produce is responsible for delivering and unloading products to customers, occasionally collecting payments. The role requires a valid non-commercial driver's license, 6-12 months of professional driving experience, and the ability to handle freight up to 90 pounds using equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday with start times between 6 and 8 am, supporting a broadline food distribution network serving restaurants, healthcare facilities, and schools.

Job Description:

Position Summary:
A Van Driver is responsible for delivering, unloading, and may collect payment for product sold to customers and other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday
Start time between 6 & 8am
8-10 hours a day (40 hours weekly)

 
Position Responsibilities:

• Delivering, unloading, and may collect payment for product sold to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6-12 Months professional driving/delivery experience, touch freight or related area.
(Customized and Specialty)
• Valid non-commercial driver's license
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements
(where applicable)
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass road test
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location
