Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Cardiology Outpatient Clinic
📍 Bel Air, MD | LifeBridge Health

Contract Details:

• Start Date: 09/08/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift | 5x8s (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
• Orientation: 16 hrs
• No RTO accepted after offer

Requirements:

• Active CMA certification preferred
• BLS & ACLS required
• 1+ year of recent Medical Assistant experience (cardiology experience required)
• Maryland or Compact state license

Skills & Duties:

• Vital signs (BP, Temp, Pulse, Respirations)
• 12-lead ECG & EKG
• Rooming patients & recording history/medications/allergies
• Telephone triage, follow-up calls, authorization forms, pharmacy refill requests
• Support for nuclear stress test (training provided)

Unit Details:

• Setting: Adult/Geriatric Outpatient Cardiology Clinic
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 (Days)
• Average Visits: ~5 per day
• Equipment: EKG, BP monitoring
• Float: May float within facility/scope, including affiliate hospital

Additional Info:

• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Return staff eligible if gone 1+ year
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
