Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to manage and work directly with outside counsel on breach of contract claims for unpaid property claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, defending claims, attending various legal proceedings, and negotiating settlements. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
* *Breach of Contract Claims*: Handle breach of contract claims related to unpaid property claims.
* *Draft Legal Documents*: Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
* *Defend Claims*: Represent and defend the company in court hearings, trials, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
* *Negotiate Settlements*: Engage in settlement negotiations and work towards achieving favorable outcomes for the company.
* *Manage Cases*: Prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
* *Maintain Documentation*: Keep accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Qualifications
* *Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree*: Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school.
* *Licensed Attorney*: Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
* *Litigation Experience*: Prior 1st Chair experience in litigation is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $300,000.00 per year
