Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move and manage inventory within the warehouse. Your attention to safety, precision, and your ability to manage materials will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of products through the warehouse.


Key Responsibilities:

Forklift Operation:

• Material Handling: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials, products, and inventory within the warehouse.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas with accuracy and care.
• Inventory Management: Assist in the organization of inventory, ensuring products are stored in designated locations and properly labeled.

Safety and Compliance:

• Safety Procedures: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the maintenance department.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of forklift operations, including inspection reports and inventory movement logs.

Warehouse Support:

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products.
• Assist with Other Duties: Participate in general warehouse tasks, such as inventory counts and assisting in the packaging and shipping areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in stand up forklift, cherry picker, and reach truck.
• Valid forklift operator's license or certification.
• Proven experience as a forklift driver, with a strong safety record.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures.
• Strong attention to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Physical stamina and ability to operate a forklift for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new warehouse technologies and processes.
