As a Elite Armed Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to provide a reassuring presence, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This position is both armed and requires driving, so you will be entrusted with the responsibility of patrolling the area by vehicle and/or on foot, depending on the needs of the location. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and customers, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5+ years of Armed security experience. 
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III armed certification for Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
