About the Role
We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic vision of our organization, ensuring financial stability, and driving our mission to provide high-quality, free programs to students who need them most. This is a rewarding volunteer position that requires dedication to governance, financial oversight, fundraising, advocacy, and public relations.
Your role as a Board Member includes active participation in committee work, strategic planning, and ensuring the organization operates within legal and ethical guidelines. Ideal candidates will have a strong alignment with our mission, prior nonprofit governance experience or relevant professional background, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills. You will need to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and demonstrate a commitment to integrity, ethics, and transparency.
Additionally, Board Members are tasked with overseeing the evaluation and accountability of our programs, contributing your expertise and resources to enhance our impact and growth.
