The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their Jacksonville, FL office. This role will take the lead on healthcare-related construction projects, overseeing efforts from the early planning stages through project handoff. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating the regulatory and logistical demands unique to medical construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of healthcare construction projects, including preconstruction planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Manage financials, including budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Direct the work of subcontractors, vendors, and internal project staff to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Work closely with healthcare owners, architects, and design consultants to meet facility-specific requirements.
  • Ensure all work complies with healthcare regulations, building codes, and company safety protocols.
  • Support and mentor junior project staff to promote development and strengthen the project team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing commercial construction projects, with a strong preference for healthcare-specific work.
  • In-depth knowledge of the codes, compliance, and safety standards relevant to healthcare environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, budgets, and client relationships effectively.
  • Skilled communicator and team leader, capable of coordinating across multiple disciplines.
  • Proficiency in project management platforms and scheduling software.
