What Youll Do
As the
Bar Manager of the venue, youll own the bar program, ensuring outstanding service, operational excellence, and a first-class guest experience.
- Craft Legendary Experiences: Lead the creation of top-tier beverages that deliver exceptional taste, striking presentation, and speedy service. Partner with bartenders, barbacks, and the events team to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience.
- Powered by People: As a leader, coach, and motivator, you will inspire the bar team, promote Batbox values, and keep everyone aligned, motivated, and accountable.
- Build for Tomorrow: Manage inventory, ordering, and labor budgets to meet financial goals while reducing waste. Analyze P&L reports to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the bar program contributes to profitability.
- Beyond the Game: Set the gold standard for health, safety, and cleanliness across all bar operations. Conduct regular inspections, address hazards promptly, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards to foster a culture of safety and excellence.
Who You Are
You have experience as a Bar Manager in high-energy, fast-paced venues. Youre a natural problem solver who thrives under pressure, using your calm demeanor to create a positive team environment. ou have certifications like Food Safe, Responsible Alcohol Service, and First Aid. Your ability to build and inspire a team is matched by your attention to detail in budgets, inventory, and operational standards. You communicate clearly and effectively, always looking for ways to improve and grow. With your ambition, youre not just managing the bar - youre driving it to the next level.
What to Expect
This role is active and hands-on, and you can expect to:
- Be on your feet for 80% of your shift - walking, standing, and moving throughout the venue
- Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs
- Navigate a fast-paced, high-energy environment where noise and distractions are common
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Frequently bend, reach, stretch, mop, sweep and wipe during your shift
- Read and write handwritten notes
