About The Role Four Seasons Hotel Houston is looking for On‑Call Banquet Servers to set up buffets and food stations, serve plated meals to guests, and complete individual guest requests. What You Will Do Offer pre‑determined menu selections to each table, maintaining knowledge of each selection’s origin, taste, and preparation method. Communicate guest orders—including any special needs or requests—to the Banquet Manager or kitchen. Check completed kitchen orders against the guest’s original order. Transport items to the guest table promptly to ensure proper food quality. Assist in setting up linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Break down, clean, and set up tables, buffets, and food stations. Schedule & Hours This is an on‑call position. On‑call servers must work no less than nine shifts in a 90‑day period. On‑call servers must work two of four holiday brunches per year, one of either Easter or Mother’s Day, and one of either Thanksgiving or Christmas. On‑call servers will review the schedule email and reply, confirming the shifts they are able or unable to work no later than 24 hours after receipt. If the minimum shift requirement is not met, Four Seasons Hotel Houston may no longer schedule that colleague and may terminate employment with 30 days written notice.
