Arborist

We are a local Tree Care company looking for a certified and experienced Arborist to join our team. This position reports directly to the Arborist Crew Leader and plays a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and beauty of our clients' trees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant and transplant trees for residential clients
• Maintain and prune mature trees
• Inspect trees for damage, disease, or hazards
• Safely remove dead or hazardous trees
• Apply fertilizers, insecticides, and other treatments
• Use and maintain tools, climbing gear, and machinery
• Assess tree health, structural integrity, and overall value
• Provide expert advice and cost estimates to clients
• Follow strict safety standards and protocols
• Any other duties or tasks that may be assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an arborist
• Certification or degree in arboriculture or a related field
• Pesticide application license
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Comfortable using climbing equipment, chainsaws, and other machinery
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
